Generally, IMHO, the biggest disadvantages with the new UE Smart Radio platform is: - No support for third party plugins or applets - You can't plan any music if you internet connection is down or unstable - There are currently no players without built-in speakers which will make it hard to build a good whole house audio system with it - The current version of the Logitech iPhone app is basically useless if you have a bit larger library, it's faster but it's missing critical functionality such as a possibility to navigate to artist/albums starting with a certain letter, in a library with 2000 albums you basically need to scroll through 2000 albums to reach the end and be able to play the album starting with letter Z. - Generally a lot less functionality and parts of the software still feels like it's in a beta state.
