The Radio, up to now, has been connected via WiFi; the Touch that it syncs with is connected via Ethernet. When the Radio WiFi began misbehaving I connected it via Ethernet to a spare Airport Express.
So, yesterday I changed the WiFi channel to 6, changed the Radio back to WiFi. It played fine for an hour or so. Then I synced it to the Touch later in the day and the problems resumed.
