Like many others here I have been using Squeezebox for many years and it has been extremely stable. If people have problems it is likely to be caused by things in their own set up, e.g. flaky WiFi (if you use WiFi it does need a fairly strong signal strength), poor tagging (get to know the tags that are needed and use mp3tag), non-standard setups (ask for advice), weird and wonderful plugins (ask for advice), fiddling with the default settings, etc. Donny - give details of your setup, which version of LMS you are using and what the problems are and the people here will only be too happy to help you sort them out.
