The "instability" I have experienced in the past has generally been caused by two things. First, an inadequate WIFI signal. Second, periodic issues with mysqueezebox.com I have solved --*_ALL_*-- of my WIFI issues by getting rid of my WIFI extender (I had tried a couple of them) and purchasing a high quality stable and powerful wireless router. Fully 100% of all of my dropped connection problems have disappeared. I tried several different routers and finally was able to find one that has been rock solid for me. Mysqueezebox.com goes down periodically. Given the nature of the product (discontinued), I find myself thinking about whether it will ever come back up. So far it has. I know that other users have had issues with specific things like alarms.
