I thought so. Everyone that answered my question says Verizon. I made
not changes to my home network and two Squeezboxes stopped working at
the same time but both work fine from a WIFI hotspot outside the Verizon
network (made with a T-Moble cell phone.)

It is a Verizon issue, there is nothing wrong with our radios - they
have not had a software update in years. 

In the last week, I have experienced many short internet disruptions
with Verizon- they are making network changes and one of their changes
affected our radios at least in the NY/NJ area.  People affected have
said they were on Long Island or New Jersey. Where are you using
Verizon? It may be only in one region, or it could be nationwide. It has
affected both their FIOS wired internet and their cell phone internet
connections.
