I had success with Vonets but after 2 burning out [suspect the wrong power supply for the first one, poor quality after that] I have switched to TP Link RE 205 and 305 Range Extenders.
One works fine - set up, connect RE to chosen network, plug in the SBR and select Ethernet and bingo! But dammit, no matter where I try the 2nd or a spare RE 305, the 2nd SBR will not fully connect to the Ethernet. I say 'fully' because the connection graphic goes full circle blue, the screen says connected but the ethernet symbol at the bottom right stays red and the unit will not connect to anything on the network. Any ideas, chaps, please?
