Folks, I've just set up a couple of SB Radios for left and right - I've
had a single (black) box for a decade or so, but have recently acquired
another (red) box for a stereo compliment of SB Radios.

I have noticed that the syncing can at times slip a little and this has
a noticeable effect on the stereo. After a little investigation I ended
up with this piece in a SOS article:
https://www.soundonsound.com/techniques/creating-using-custom-delay-effects#para8

So, delays of around the 10-15ms mark are used for stereo widening
effects - which confirmed what I was wondering - that I needed to
tighten the syncing delays...

And, checking 'Minimum Synchronization Adjustment (ms)' setting my
suspicions were further confirmed - that setting was at 10ms - right
where you would expect it to be if you were *trying* to create stereo
widening effects. So, I attempted to reduce the delay to 5ms - but, it
seems that 10ms is the minimum setting - at least through the GUI.

Is there a configuration setting anywhere in the slimserver config files
that might allow for a lower - say 5ms - sync adjustment? I realise
this might be asking more of the system than it's able to manage, but
computing speed has come up a little since this code was written.
Another spanner to throw into the works - which might well negate any
reduction in sync adjustment - is that I checked the network latency
between slimserver and it was between 6-8ms and so I've adjusted up the
'Network Packet Latency (ms)' from 2ms to 8ms.

Perhaps this post would be better off under LMS forum?

Thanks for the fun :)
M
