as you said, discussed before, but I still am trying to wrap my head
around how this could work without tying the foil to "ground" (say Vdd
of the radio). From a physics standpoint. But if you did that do you
essentially create a faraday cage (where nothing get through). That is
why the basement is such a good idea (emphasis - to test) solid
structures, especially those with water (moisture in the soil, concrete,
people :)) will attenuate 2.4GHz carriers. The idea is to attenuate
yours )(stronger than needed) and your neighbors (weak enough to no
longer disrupt) - as you said Paul..

I (almost) wish I had a misbehaving radio. Maybe I'll try wrapping my
phone in foil and run wifianalyzer and see what happens. :)
