POMdev, one of you earlier posts mentioned the Wifi chip is Atheros 6002. (It took me a while to find that in the search.) I am wondering if someone tech savy could attempt to contact the manufacturer about an updated firmware that might solve the problem. Probably a long shot, but perhaps someone might be sympathetic to our problem. The difficulty will be finding that person with knowledge about the chip.
