That's a good idea, data will be cheap too. "Occasional dev box" seems
unlikely though. In my experience (which admittedly was 12 months ago), the
latency to EC2 instances was too high to even edit files in the console
comfortably. We tried running up a head-less x-session, it was horrible.

Distribute it across RORO laptops :), I'll happily run a build agent for
some ruby/haskell fun.
