Hey Mikel,

I'm running a mix of Debian and Ubuntu at the moment.

Ubuntu Server acts as a KVM host for a number of Debian guests (and it
just works - very little hassle out of the box). Both have stable IPv6
support (including 6over4 and 6in4) which is nice (not that we've got
anywhere near the levels of ISP support yet in Australia to warrant
wide spread deployment of it).

I've found Debian to be slightly more locked down by default, which is
handy when you're deploying VMs.

Ubuntu Server has, at times, seemed to be a bit of an afterthought, so
I can see where you might get that vibe from - it does receive regular
updates though and is very pleasant to work with. The documentation is
also reasonably up-to-date on a myriad of different packages and
server setups.
