Ha, my accountant is from a small town on the NW coast of Tassie, you might find it a bit awkward getting to his office. :) I actually started using him because he's been the accountant for my parent's small biz for 15 years.
I think that's probably a good indicator, talk to small business owners you know, family, friends, etc, find someone with a good reputation who's used to dealing with the "small end of town", I don't think you can go far wrong. :) On 10/11/2011, at 9:45 AM, Taryn East wrote: > * Warren Seen <[email protected]> spake thus: >> Above all else, make sure you plan from the start to pay yourself at LEAST >> 9% superannuation - although paying more can have tax benefits, so get a >> good accountant if you don't already have one. > > Any recommendations? :) > > Cheers, > Taryn > [currently a long way away... but moving back RSN] > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group. > To post to this group, send email to [email protected]. > To unsubscribe from this group, send email to > [email protected]. > For more options, visit this group at > http://groups.google.com/group/rails-oceania?hl=en. > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby or Rails Oceania" group.
