That is a great idea but unfortuntely, prototype.js ends up making it
more pain because of the many concrete reasons I listed before.


Not for me. Prototype-style expressions match the way I think and make
me more productive. Prototype can only get better over time. I dig it
the mostest, baby.

This is open source after all, and with a very permissive license to
boot. You are free to take it and turn it into your own beautiful
creations.
