Saint Augustine said how we should witness:
"Preach the word of God constantly, and sometimes use words"

There is also an old song that speaks of how we can prove Christianity:
"And they will know we are Christians by our love"

Jesus never had to say a word about who he was if he didn't want to.  He could have gone his entire life mute just doing good deeds and miracles with others prophecying his Godhood and there would still be people who believe it.  Christianity isn't about words or preaching.  It is about love, and showing that love through ALL of our actions and words not just the ones we dedicate for witnessing.
