With any uniform someone wears you must build up the pride and importance. A
uniform builds unity and team work. To keep a boys pride you must help the
boy achieve and work on advancements and adventure associated with it. Show
the importance of that uniform to the service of God Jesus and the Holy
Spirit.

I just bought my Trailblazer of the Year a brand new uniform. I am going to spring it on him just before he goes to the Sectional Competition on Friday.  Nobody knows about it yet, but imagine the excitement he will have when he finds that a Commander actually put him in the game with it. :)  Personally, I felt that his old uniform wasn't going to do him a whole lot of good in the inspection because not much of it was able to be matched with anything else. It has always been the policy around my parts if the outpost wears short sleeves, then the whole outpost wears short sleeves, but in this competition, usually the rules are passed down to the Section by the District. District Cdr Harlan prefers long sleeves last I spoke with him on the topic (few years back)
I think that he will be so excited.  I'm pretty excited and privileged to be able to offer it to him.

Be Blessed!
