I was sitting on a sunny hillside at the NW Dist. powwow in the summer of 1995 when Distric Cdr. Bob Unrue made a pitch to send our old Leader handbooks in to be packed for his trip to Africa..
*The thought went thru my head as to why don't we send them the latest greatest stuff via the *Internet and form partnerships via e-mail with these new leaders... I mean do you want some old used handbook, or do you want my input as a Real Royal Ranger? I ran this thru the thinking machine of Commanders around me and they came up blank... Rangernet came from the blank looks of real Commanders who wanted to chat and do better with what they had at hand.. there is a human element at work on Rangernet. But there is also a *Spiritual element at work as well..
