Our outpost has 2 boys going into FCF at the Spring Trace. We have 5 leaders and one boy in FCF now. 2 of the leaders have been in for more than a year. After the spring trace, we'll have 8 in FCF (I'm a CPA so I got the math down cold).
Another outpost in our section has 2 boys going for the Big Adventure same time as our boys. Their outpost does not have any leaders in FCF. It appears they got hooked by the FCF Rep (from my outpost) and the Scout talking to them. Seems they want something more than "regular" Rangers has to offer. Here's the question. What can we do keep the flame alive in these boys, who are about a year from being eligible to jump to youth? Those of you who entered FCF while a boy, I'd like to especially hear from you.
