Sounds great! Also sounds like someone's doing their job, and doing it well.

I entered FCF when I was 14, and it was the key to me remaining in Royal 
Rangers throughout the rest of my teen years (admittedly, this was a few 
years ago). The key for me was activities and the extra friendships that I 
was able to establish through FCF that I couldn't have through just the 
local outpost. Through FCF I was able to go to additional activities in the 
division, district, territory, and even a national event -- the 1976 
national rendezvous. I had commanders who were committed to making sure I 
made it to any FCF activity that I was interested in going to . . . if they 
couldn't make it themselves, they made arrangements for me to go with 
someone else.
