I can second that. Being a member of a church started by american missionaries in the 80's I noticed a fair ignorance of our local/german regulations. With people dancing in and wondering why they get the walking papers. Even this week a brasilian brother that came before Christmas planning to stay a bit longer. Well, without the visa he has to say good bye this Saturday. The advice: Inform yourself BEFORE you embark to Europe on "missionary" undertakings, apply for your papers that you will definitely get and you won't have to leave in a hurry and then call that thing "persecution".
