I was at a conference in Oklahoma in January where the national commander and several others from national staff were reviewing the new program.  It is all merit driven, the numbers of merits earned the higher up the trail to the GMA you earn.  The merits will be color coded and you will have to earn certain combinations to advance.  2 red merits and one orange and you get the first advancement.  Supposedly everything will be mapped out and put in plans to use in the regular outpost meetings so the boys (and commanders, too) can earn an advancement per quarter.  For Discovery Rangers (aka, Pioneers) this will allow them to earn all merits within the three year program, then they will advance to the Adventure Rangers (aka, Challengers).  Here, the boys will be able to earn the GMA at or by age 12.  After that I'm kind of confused.  Do we send them on their way to Youth, or involve them in leadership with Rangers and in a few years get them into FCF or can they go into FCF once they have the GMA?  Is there an age requirement for FCF?  I know so very little about FCF I don't know for sure the next step.

If you need more info, I have some, but didn't want to get too long winded.

I was wondering about something.
How many of you guys and ladies have seen the new
