Guys, Competition nothing! I am trying to encourage my boys to attend youth functions and yet continue in the Older (Expedition Ranger) Functions. Our younger boys need the young men to Look up to for leadership and example. I don't say do away with the boys after 12 I say keep them but yet work with and encourage the youth programs in your church. I attend youth and children's church functions as much as possible as a sponsor or chaperone. I want the kids to see the love (time) that I am investing in them. I want them to know they are loved and supported no matter what their calling might lead. This is what I believe God would want us to do. Just my two cents.
