[RR] It's beginning to look a lot like snow!

Hey!  Who called for this ice snow storm?  A#1 did you have anything to do with it?    Well what a month it has been.  I put in a small LAN (local network) in my house about 6 weeks ago.  Ever since then I have been fighting Windows XP with a bad case of the flakes!  I mean some serious flakeage.  It would work then it wouldn't. It would print and then it wouldn't.  I would have USB devices and then I wouldn't...ARRRRRGH! It finally came down to me my black powder rifle and this computer. So with no cleaning hot soapy water to clean the smoking pole with I elected to figure out my computer over thanksgiving holiday.  After endless removing, trying, uninstalling, reinstalling.. I was close to blasting this ole CPU before I pulled all my hair out.    I had a win3.1 system that upgraded to win95 to win98 and then to xp... old in computer age!  Along with those years of age came multiple hardware upgrades till nothing was the same except for the Sr. Commander who was hopeful that he could keep all his ole stuff working with this XP thing....   It took backing up my data.  Wiping it clean. Install win98 then xp and then reinstalling all my software.  Everything works (Hold my breath) at least it has for a few days.  I put the Christmas Parade float pictures back on line for viewing they can be found at: ftp://64.72.38.247 as well as the latest Ranger Database Updates.   Hope to have some advancement Lockin pictures this weekend as well.  HOLLER LOUD IF anything isn't working!  GRIN!   Mark Jones p.s.
