We will be having a "Harvest Party" however we call it
Kid's Fun Fest. I guess as we see it, it is a great
oppurtunity for outreach to our neighbors. Not to
mention providing a safe place for the kids to come
to. We are doing carnival games and passing out
pre-made bags of candy with info about the church in
it. To tell you the truth, there is not many times
when people willingly come up to a church without
being invited and you usually see that during
Halloween.

I know there is a lot of "controversy" regarding
Halloween but we see it as a great time of outreach.
We are reclaiming the night for God. Just out of
curiosity, how do you feel about Christmas Trees or
Easter Eggs as they have "Earth"/ancient religious
origins also?
