"Some have said we must not act until the threat is imminent. Since when have terrorists and tyrants announced their intentions, politely putting us on notice before they strike?"
George W. Bush - State on the Union 2003
So by this logic, North Korea has the same right to launch pre-emptive strikes on the USA.
The USA has announced its impending threats to the sovereign nation of North Korea.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander, isn't it? [pun intended]
Answer me this little question.
Which country poses the greatest threat to peace. It's america.
Why - cause it thinks it's territory is the whole world. Why?
Good question.
When things are going bad at home, the "How to stay in office" manual supplied to all incumbents is to force everyone to look to an imagined threat outside. Find a boogy-man and make him the enemy. Spend ridiculous amounts of money and huge litres of blood in forcing people to forget their pain and suffering at home. Sure - three thousand people died on American soil at the hands of a couple of fanatics - but doesn't the 10-20000 lives America has taken make up for that, or is american blood worth so mouch more than the blood of "infadels"
It's the same tactic used by Stalin and Mao.
The only difference here is that you can't see it - 'cause you're in it. Same as the Russians and the Chinese couldn't see it.
George Orwell simplified it enough that you can gain a glimpse through anothers eyes when he wrote Animal Farm. You might like to read it, unless it's still on the list of books banned by your freedom loving colleagues.
A wise man once said "There's none so blind as those who will not see"
