Well... I sorta climbed on my soapbox
for a minute there, the courses are great tools. But what really
bothers me is that the LTA Courses were re-written with the express purpose to
make them more leader friendly. Yet they sit on their hands full of
apathy, not taking the courses & wondering why things are not going
well. I have taken and taught every course that is out there and
find them choc full of good things, well worth the time.
Then my wife recently gave me the
book Thinking for a Change, by John Maxwell. I highly
recommend it. If I can only accomplish a portion of what
he recommends, I will have made a change in my life and those around
me. I tend to dream and think a little outside the box, but this book has
spurred me on to do more and better things.
