Brother John
I fully agree with the point you make. It is those in authority in
Springfield who know the situation and choose to do nothing about it. I
have also found out that cooperation with the youth only works in about 10%
of our churches. Its usually the Rangers that are willing to cooperate. We
should be working together and I was thinking more on the allocation of
resources for ministry. Without the Royal Ranger ministry, the General
Council of the Assemblies of God would have to cut more than 50% of their
budget. They would not be able to run their air conditioning this summer.
I'm saying that it is time for a little more fairness concerning the Ranger
program/ministry. I don't want lip service, I want action.
May God Bless Rangers, Youth, and Missionettes

e-mail. I agree with half also okay. Yes I am also tired of Rangers
playing second half but what I disagree is that why do we want Yth to play
2nd string? We are on the same battle field. We are post to work together
as one. If we fight we aren't working with each other. What I mean is that
if Ranger group fight with the Yth for kids. Then we lost our Mission. To
win souls for Christ, if we work together. Then we gain something and we
are earning souls for Jesus. Which are we on? My point is that let all be
#1 field. There is no #2-whatever. Just my two cents

not youth BUT I am tired of playing second fiddle (or third) to youth. It
is a proven fact, backed up by figures from National Office, the various
departments, and The General Council of the Assemblies of God. Royal
Rangers is the #1 (sorry Duane), the top soul winning program in the
Assemblies of God. Just think what we could do if we had the resources
(money) that is poured into the youth department. What could we do with
Senior Commanders on the Churches payroll, paid district commanders in every
state, and paid staff. We could do National Camporama every year. Man,
what we could do. Now to the point, I am tired of playing second fiddle to
the youth. From what I read here, if it weren't for the excellent Ranger
programs I read about here, many churches would not have the Youth program
that they have. I am aware that this does not hold true everywhere. I
think its time the youth played secon!

Trask, maybe I will ask him next time he is at our church. As you may have
noticed, this is kind of a sore spot with me and I apologize if I have
offended anyone.
