I have been sitting back for awhile and reading the posts.
Consider this.
Give a full report on your Outpost. Let the Ranger ministry within the
church speak for itself. Show how many boys have given their life to
Christ, renewed their relationship with Christ. How many boys have been
helped by the ministry. Ask the boys to write a letter to you about how
Rangers have changed their lives. Also ask the Parents to do the same
thing.
When doing this do not give a reason for it, just tell them you would like
to keep it on file.
Give an account on the outreaches the Rangers have participated in.
In other words show the Impact that Rangers have had in the homes and the
community. But also show what the impact would be if there were Trail
Rangers.
But I say, do it with humility, Without threat, or force. Just present it
with Love.
If God wants to do more with Rangers in your church don't you think he will
possibly nudge the pastor through the Holy Spirit?
If not, the pastor still sees the work and effort that goes into Rangers,
He also sees the outcome. He also can see the impact that could be made in
the future with the Boys in Rangers.
I still have to realize that sometimes the pastor is so far away from the
core of Rangers that he doesn't see all of the benefits from it.
