hi my name is mike . i have been in rangers practically all my life . i've
went thru the ranks and training and now i've started an outpost . i seen
the need cause the church i go to it's known as the retirement church . thus
, i get the grandchildren on wendsday or whenever they show up it's hard
keeping in contact with the boys living all over.the point i'm coming to is
that most pastor's do not know what the rangers is all about . they think
that it's a program just in their church . but when asked if they would want
to come to an overnite campoutyou get no i'm busy and he never learns a
thing about rangers. i too was faced with getting pushed into youth but
found out that i had more fun in rangers than in youth . and i stayed cuase
of the fact that their are more boys won for christ thru rangers than in
youth . have you ever heard a youth leader say man their was over 2,000 kids
won to christ this year ? if they do i never hear it.
sorry to take up time and space but this whole thing of youth/rangers has
been around for a long time not just now . and it just makes me sick that
that kind of thing is still going on in our churches around the world. looks
like that youth and rangers would bind together instead of pulling apart and
work togther like have a option of to go or not togo .

well goto go and God bless,
                      mike knotts

dumb rule for some don't fit Yth, but you gotta remember God put the Sr.
Pastor in half charge of the church. I don't like the rule.
