     I was told by folks from my District that the Red Cross patch that is 
worn on the uniform just under the emblem on the left sleeve is now obsolete. 
 The Red Cross no longer produces these patches and the Ranger protocol is to 
wear the one the GPH issues to be worn just above the left cuff over the LFTL 
Dir Councilman.  I was also told that CPR training from the American Heart 
Association is now being accepted as well.  Me personally, I don't like 
anything on my cuff except the service stars, so wearing the thing is 
entirely optional.
