If you look closely there are two different versions of the Eureka
Timberline tents. One is a "standard" tent while the other one is an
"outfitter" tent. The outfitter quality tent has heavier zippers and
stronger stiching at critical points. Outpost 93, Raytown ,Mo is using the
Eureka Timberline Outfitter tents. They are an excellent quality tent and
designed to hold up to the rough and tumble treatment the boys normally give
them (some boys could destroy an anvil, so no tent is indestructable).
They've used these tents for approx 10 years and most (some boys don't
understand the purpose or operation of zippers) of them are holding up
well. They are not cheap to buy initially but in the long run they will save
an outpost money. You will also note in the tent specs that the Timberline
is a 3 season tent, the Timberline Outfitter is a 4 season industrial tent.
Having been on a few "industrial" campouts (horizontial rain) I can
appreciate the quality of a 4 season tent versis a 3 season tent. Hope this
helps.
