I'll take any opportunity to express an opinion<G>

I 'm for Tarp camp!

*Issue one blue plastic tarp and a large roll of binder twine..
a roll of duct tape and mayby some suggestions on a printed sheet
to each patrol and let them go at it!

In fact use it as a contest!

The resulting "shelter" will be a memory maker far in excess of the
price of the cheap tarp<G>

The use of sticks and knots supports the campcraft skills we should teach
and the low-scale price promotes thriftyness.
