My wooden nickels worth . . .
I was a senior commander's boy, and I was forced into earning the GMA. I
was not given any award, I earned everything I got because I wanted to. I
never quit Rangers after earning the GMA because I believe (and still do)
that this was the best Program/Ministry to reach boys. I believe Royal
Rangers is the best value for the money for lasting results.
I don't believe the GMA is for everybody as I don't think Rangers is for
every boy, It is more important to reach, teach and keep boys for
Christ. For some it may be the GMA, others have found FCF to be what
they need, other just like coming. Everybody has a different level of
commitment, some 10%, 50%, 100%+. (Maybe it is just like talents) What
we need to do is accept everybody the way they are and do what God has to
us to do.
