As an Sr Commander I have had to deal with the excuse that some have given in
regard to getting involved in Rangers that they could not give it their all,
so for that reason they could not give any. I said to many of them that I
will take your 20 or 30%, because if several could give some then the few
faithful would not have to give all. However they were not even willing to
give even a little.
Peoples lives change in time. The one with much time may one day find it
gone and another leader may have time open up for him. As for me I could not
have been as involved 10 years ago as I am now. So what I do is try to keep
men involved even if its a small amount, because his time may be coming that
he can be more involved. We should not judge anyone's else's commitment but
only our own. To Noel I say do what God wants you to do and leave others to
Him.
