I agree with you. I believe a lot has to do with effort and attitude. I try very hard
to give 100% to the time that I alot to Rangers. The key words here being "time
alloted". I see some Commanders who don't have a lot of time to give to Rangers, but
the time they do have they give their all. On the other hand, I have seen Commanders
come to class consistently having not planned anything. It is a stress to the boys,
leaders, and the Outpost. They have the time but do not give the effort. We should
pray that God gives us the strength to give that 100% effort to the time that we allow
ourselves in Rangers.

>I think in Rangers every Commander should give 100%. Now before everyone gets
>mad let me explain!!! I don't spend 100% of my time in Rangers, (although it
>feels like that sometime) that is humanly impossible but I do give it 100%
>effort and that's what really counts. If I spend all of my time in Rangers and
>yet don't do it whole heartily then what's the point? I believe God deserves
>our best and if Rangers is what He called us to do then give it 100%, 100%
>effort. I tell people all the time that I'm a minister and they ask if I
>pastor and I tell then no I'm a Royal Ranger minister, this IS a ministry.
>This is just some thoughts that I had. I don't want a Commander to feel bad
>just because they do not devote all of their time to Rangers. It's only
>important how valuable they make the time that they give.
