Hi there, just thought I would add my 5 cents worth.(As that is our
smallest coin only worth slightly more than two American cents.)

We in New Zealand eat VEGEMITE in copious quantities same as those over
on our West Island. (aka Australia.) I have it all the time. I think
this is an important icon of our culture, and a delicious one at that.
I'll have to see if it is on the menu for the camporama next year. I
hope so.

But if you have a sweeter tooth, and would like to try a nice kiwi icon,
try Pavlova. It is a Merangue dish topped with fresh whipped cream and
kiwifruit. Yum. If I threw this one in your face, you'll be naughty
just to get a second helping. I can post the recipe if anyone wants it.

Bye for now,
Doug Beale.

a word about the national treasure, vegemite.

As for vegemite, he did not mention our other National dish the Chico
Roll either.
This Tim Ferguson is an ex-Kiwi and does not have a clue what Australia
is about.
