> Where did you get the hat? The Boy Scout hat is to green not brown.

...A nostolgic question<G>

Early Rangers had to "aquire" uniform parts from outside resources..

many boys wore ill fitting "too-big" Men's small kahki uniforms.. and
Leaders struggled to find the Old-style Air Force "suntan" Uniform<G>

Cdr.Johnnie liked to wear his "JB Stetson-Open Road" LBJ style hat and
the result was a hodge-podge of "*Use what yah got-surplus store"
Outposts<G>

The Kahki belt was hard to find in our town so we wore *white belts
and began to issue additional awards and "pins" for events and trips..

The result was the GPH Leader uniform... found in an old Uni-form
guide with a very young Cdr.Fred Deaver looking rather un-comfortable<G>

*So it would to me be *Nostolgic if we promoted the brown "Smokey-Hat"
and found 7 different shades at the next National event<G> Heheee...
