Portland to San Francisco is 12 hours at the speed limit consumeing
a US Gallon every 10min's... German tech lays at the side of all roads in
heaps of burned out VW Buses.. (*I know had 3) from the steep Mt. passes
out here...
English rigs can't stand the sustained heat of high speed runs 1,500 KM
to a campout! *The thinking to decrease cubes to up fuel savings results
in the need to use to much potential RPM's to get the power and that
creates heat and wear<G>
*I'd suggest Euro=folks come over and buy the BIGGEST 4x4 1 TON V8 POWERED
CREWCAB.... for a tour of the west<G>
...then cruz control on, Bluegrass on the CDplayer and yur behind the
wheel of 7,000 lbs of steel crossing the Rockies at 80 mph!
