I know what you mean. One month ago I was paying $.79 and less. Sometimes
.75. Now it is up to $1.19. Forty cents a gallon in one month. Thats a
50% increase. I didn't mind the .79, I didn't mind the .89, I didn't mind
the .99, and I didn't mind the 1.09. When it is .99 on Tuesday and 1.19 on
Wednesday, something is funny. When I drive 50 miles south of where I live,
(same state) there is a 16 cent difference, lower. When I drive 200 miles
north, it is 5 cents cheaper when for as long as I can remember, and I can
remember when gas was 22 cents, it has traditionally been 5-10 cents more.
Now I get the feeling that I am being ripped off and had. When you go to
the store or someplace for the next week, stop and think when you buy
anything. How would I feel if the price of this would have gone up 25%
yesterday. Or 30 or 35!! Overnight for what?? reason. I don't mind the
prices if they would just stay there for a while. Somewhere, ANYWHERE.
