Spirit Rider et al,
I agree with Spirit Rider that TV preachers can get carried away with
the money thing. But, we need to look at Paul's letters to really see
what he said about giving.
To the Macedoians he was please with their giving: Romans 15:26-27 and
II Cor. 8:1-5.
Giving freely, without the right hand knowing what the left is doing. If
the Holy Spirit prompts you to give a donation to a ministry, then do so
freely, not worrying about the outcome. If the Holy Spirit tells you not
to give to a certain ministry, then listen and heed the wisdom.
