I don't know about doing it in the oven; sounds too smoky to me (& more
importantly to my wife). What I do is cut up a bunch of 100% cotton cloth (it
must be 100% natural fibers; no synthetic) & put it in an empty Altoid tin.
It has just the right size holes. Then I toss it right on the burner of my
camp stove out in the yard & cook it 'til the smoke stops coming out the
holes.
