A couple of years ago I went to a trucking company surplus store which
should items that they had to buy because of careless employees who may have
damaged items. They had empty quart paint cans with lids and no labels for
.25cents each.
I bought several and gave them away to several guys for charred cloth.
These worked really well.
I have found that heavy Muslim cloth does real well and one yard which is
about 1.49 at walmart will last for several times of charr cloth cooking.
