I may do what said about "I'm not a shamed of being a Ranger" thing
with my Pioneer next week. I asked one of the boys who
wants to earn the GMA this question: On the scale of
1 - 10 (10 high), how badly do you want the GMA? He answered
with a 9. When I asked him this question: If you were half way done
with the GMA would you want to finish it when you turned 12. He answered
no. That's something I don't understand. He ranks it high but would not
want to finsh it when he turns 12. Sorry if what I'm about seem harsh but
it's the way I feel. To me it's pointless that he wants something but don't
want
to finish it. I mean why say you want the GMA if you are not going to
complete?
I will teach the merits, but if HE wants the GMA HE has to do the work to
get it.
