Greetings all,
I'm asking that you remember our Brothers and extended families in the
Southeastern Virginia and north eastern North Carolina Areas as they are
still flooded out by Floyd. The Town of Franklin, VA is presently under 15
feet of water and more rain is expected tonight. Food is getting scarce out
there, people staying in shelters have not had showers in many days and
resources are getting taxed to their limits. This thing called Harvey is
coming out of the Gulf of Mexico is expected to make matters worse. Gert is
still looming ominously near Bermuda. We ought to join together and do
something to get food out there to say the least. I'm going to propose a food
drive and see how far I can go with that. (I would be the one to get it
organized too. ) But to folks like Gary Rothwell and Brother Jonathan and all
others in the Potomac Tidewater Sections and North Carolina Districts, lets
remember them in prayer!
Blessings, God will send them forth, Our God is an awesome God He Reigns! Be
still and know that He has it under Control!
Mike Burke
