This is all part of my master plan. GPH doesn't offer everything yet.
I'm making a list of things that they can choose from and if I have to get it
at Walmart or K-mart or Sports Authority or somewhere like that then it is
considered. I had purchased a nice Leatherman's at Walmart for $5.00 in 1996
and it still works nicely. Boys could use a thing like that or much of the
gear that Walmart, K-Mart, Ames, Target, Sam's Club, BJ's, Costco has. Just
because it is camping, it makes it Ranger related. Ranger bucks are only
good at the local outpost and are not valid anywhere else. Only the
Commander can redeem them at face value. Our boys need much, but we have to
learn how to set a goal and attain that goal. The work will pay off in the
long run when we learn how really be comfortable in a camping environment.
Plus my LTC/NTC experiences will be of use in these situations as well as my
camping experiences of my participation the Civil Air Patrol will be able to
help with that too. (at my post) The Point is that WE need to "Reach, Teach
and Keep Kids for Christ."
When kids are giving us their attention, we have attained the reach, as we
have their attention, we are able to teach, and when they take that knowledge
and apply it to their lives, we have kept them, because those things will
remain with them for the rest of their lives.

Blessings,

Iron Mike
