Cdr Mike here,
What i will plan on doing, is assigning a worth to each advancement,
activity, special favor, and item of importance, but also having a system of
where he earns negative amounts for bad behavior. I'm not going to penalize
the boys for not completing an assignment, but they just would get what they
earn. If they are disruptive they get docked. I won't take points off for
uniform infractions because that just gets into petty silliness, but I would
give points for each correct item on the uniform, (not Patches because I
already have those situated for them) like belt, socks, shoes, trousers,
type of tie, proper wearing of the headgear, (though that is optional)
cleanliness, etc.; I'm going to whip this all up on an Excel spreadsheet to
see how it looks on paper. The boys would get a certain amount for showing
up, bringing friends, going to powwows and other stuff, trip, pine car races,
etc.; but I'm in the planning stages on this one.
Blessings,
Iron Mike
