How about raising some funds to pay half and parents pay half. And when a boy
outgrows a uniform he can trade it in on another new one for half price
again. If a used one is available, no charge. And he can trade it in again
later.
I know this won't be easy but it will worth it in the long run. The real key
is to work your program so that parents see the value of supporting their
son's involvement. Most of them don't have a problem with paying for a 3
month season of sports for little Johnny.
