I know what it is like to have a burden for your outpost. I went through the same thing last year and we still don't have an Outpost Council or a Parent Commanders Association. For now I see a burden for some Pioneers that could benefit from my Godly example and my teaching. I am still hurt that our church is so strong that it is building a new section on to the building making it twice its current size and not one member of the congregation has a strong enough burden to form an Outpost Council and meet once a month or once every two months. We do have our own trailer paid largely by our men's group and the church funds us on a monthly basis. I enjoy coming up with ideas myself but the well is dry when us commanders can't think of anything.

The outpost council arranges with the church to fund these items by
fundraisers or working a way for the church to support its ministry of
Royal Rangers. The Royal Ranger Program if done as per the manual will
work these things out. It takes work and prayer but a Outpost Council
and Pastor / Board Support is the best way.7 years ago I can remember trying to get a Royal Ranger outpost in
uniform and changing from romper room to "Royal Rangers". I tried and
tried from the bottom up. I finally gave up in dissalousionment and went
to the prayer room on Wed nights for the next 6 months. Every time I got
a chance for a Prayer request..."Pray for Royal Rangers". I just kept
at it until God put the vision in the Pastors and Chruch Boards hearts.
Today we have 6 men on outpost Council, 20 leaders envolved weekly and
we participate in mostl Sec, Div, Dist, Royal Ranger Events. On
wednesday night Sr. Guide has everyone fall in and runs opening ceremony
with over 90% in full class B uniform. We had over 30 outings this past
year and saw 2 boys saved and one rededication these past few months.
God is good and faithfull. His timing is what makes the difference.
Your job is help turn the program into a ministry and keep on keepin on
