Did you try the Gideons? They are local businessmen that are committed to placing Bibles in places like motel rooms etc. Perhaps try asking the local businessmen that are Christians to contribute to a Bible fund. When I was in the Illinois National Guard a chaplain gave me a stack of Bibles to give out to the men in my Company. I don't know where he got them from but I think they may have been government issue. Many missions organizations have been sending Bibles to former soviet bloc nations. I know that Revival fires in Branson, Mo. has been sending Bibles to Russian Soldiers.

Not really looking for this sort of thing yet, but I would
like to know where you all get your uniforms. Is there any
nice, inexpensive place to buy the khaki's and buckaroo
shirts? We are a small outpost and funds are dear, even
though parents are asked to pay what they can, some just
don't have it. Or have more than one child in the rr
program.Also, our senior commander is looking for a source of
inexpensive new testaments or small Bible to hand out. He
use to get them for .50 each, this last time he looked they
wanted $3.99 for one. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!Later-
