These people will be Judged by HOW the lived their lives by the "Law" placed
in their hearts. Most cultures had laws similar to the Hebrews (although not
as strict in some cases). This still apllies today for the unreached people
groups of the world like those in Southern China. Our God is a God of love
and He knows that people have died not knowing His love for them.
I would suggest you read the Chronicials of Nariana by C.S.Lewis. He shows
how God's love works in this reguard. It will also show you more of what
Jesus is like.
