My husband arranged a bowl-a-thon. The older boys, pioneers and up, got
pledges-so many cents per pin- from church members and family friends.
One boy even got pledges from people on his paper route. They had a
great afternoons fun, played two games and made almost $300. (We're a
small church as well, maybe 30-35 boys in our group.) We also allowed
people to just give a flat rate as well.

The missionettes did a lasagna dinner. Even as a last minute fundraiser
it still brought in $150 dollars after expenses. People have to eat so
food fundraisers seem to work well.
